Job description
We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
What you'll do-
Test Case Management: Define, create, and manage comprehensive test cases using tools like Qase or other test management platforms.
Automation Development: Develop and maintain E2E automation scripts using Playwright, JS-based frameworks, or .NET testing frameworks to streamline test execution.
Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing for complex cybersecurity environments, ensuring product stability and functionality.
Production Issue Investigation: Analyze logs, errors, and issues from production and customer environments, working closely with development teams for debugging and resolution.
E2E Testing Implementation: Design and execute end-to-end test scenarios covering critical user flows and edge cases.
Quality Assurance & Gatekeeping: Act as a product stability gatekeeper, ensuring high-quality releases by proactively identifying defects and risks.
Job requirements
5+ years of experience in automation engineering, including at least 2 years of experience with Playwright.
Experience with additional frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or .NET-based automation tools is a plus.
Strong experience in writing and managing test cases using tools like Qase, TestRail, or similar platforms.
Proficiency in automation scripting with JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
Strong debugging and log analysis skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex production issues.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with development teams.
Experience with AWS services, particularly S3, for cloud-based application testing- an advantage
Familiarity with performance testing, API testing, and CI/CD pipelines-- an advantage
Strong understanding of DevOps practices and test automation in continuous integration environments - an advantage
