Job description
For a leading global consultancy company, that offers a range of services/practices in the construction industry, we are looking for:
ITIM (Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager)/ Project Manager.
The ITIM is responsible for project management of all fit-out activities associated with client systems and/or services and their critical infrastructure required to be installed into a new data center facility.
The role requires the identification and management of scopes and interdependencies between all external and internal stakeholders and coordinating same with the physical construction with our General Contractors and other vendors.
The ITIM is responsible for the project lifecycle including planning, budgeting, procurement, pre-construction activities, coordinating the handover process and ensuring the required handover documentation and expectations are met to handover the space to our Operations teams and the business.
The ITIM is responsible for producing and managing project plans and executing major milestones .
Responsibilities
• Leads data center construction/integration activities on local/campus projects (e.g., new or retrofit data center facilities) and provides key input on all data center fit-out related activities.
• This position requires a senior level of understanding of Safety, Datacenter Commissioning, Project Management, Telecommunications, and Mission Critical Operations.
• Create and/or maintain best practices to identify and incorporate quality and cost-effective solutions.
• Development of ITIM reports to best understand and communicate project status.
• Development of financial reports to best understand and communicate project status.
Job requirements
Requirements:
• Education: Industrial and management engineer/ civil engineer
• 5-7 Years of experience in Project Management, Construction management.
• Background in Data Center/ telecom projects will be advantageous and all round PM skills preferred, technical aspects
• Very well organised
• Autonomous
• Resourceful & good problem solving ability/attitude
• Can manage multiple stakeholders, internal and external, across multiple time zones
• Can manage and prioritise multiple deliverables across a portfolio of projects, at various stages of design, construction, handover
