Job description
We are looking for VP of R&D to lead the Org Technological advancements.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and execute the R&D strategy aligned with the company’s
vision and growth objectives.
• Lead innovation efforts to expand Org’s product portfolio, ensuring
competitiveness and relevance in the global market.
2. Team Development & Management:
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing R&D team, fostering a
collaborative and innovative culture.
• Establish processes to enhance team efficiency and deliver quality
outputs on time and within budget.
3. Product Development:
• Oversee the design, development, and testing of advanced liquid
cooling systems and related technologies.
• Ensure product designs meet or exceed industry standards for
performance, reliability, and environmental sustainability.
4. Technology Innovation:
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and
competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities.
• Drive the adoption of cutting-edge tools, techniques, and materials to
enhance product capabilities.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure
products align with customer needs and market demands.
• Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure
smooth product scaling and deployment.
6. Budget & Resource Management:
• Develop and manage the R&D budget, ensuring optimal allocation of
resources for maximum ROI.
• Secure and manage external partnerships, grants, and funding
opportunities for technology development.
7. Regulatory & Compliance:
• Ensure all products and processes adhere to applicable regulatory
requirements and industry certifications.
• Advocate for sustainability and green innovation in all product
development initiatives.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline is
strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of at least 10+ years in R&D leadership roles,
preferably in hardware, cooling technology, or related industries.
• Strong technical expertise in thermal engineering, fluid dynamics, or
related fields.
• Demonstrated success in bringing complex products from concept to
market.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire
and manage a diverse team of engineers and scientists.
• Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making
abilities.
• Familiarity with global R&D processes and experience managing cross-
functional and geographically dispersed teams.
