ADAMA, one of the world’s leading crop protection companies, is seeking a highly motivated and professional Formulation Researcher to join our Formulation R&D Department at Adama Agan in Ashdod.
The position focuses on creating and advancing innovative formulation technologies that provide real solutions to farmers worldwide and support sustainable agriculture.

Professional Development Areas
In this role, you will build deep expertise in formulation science, including solubility and active ingredient stabilization, emulsions, wetting and dispersants, crystal growth prevention, rheology, milling, adjuvancy, agrobiology, and intellectual property. In parallel, you will gain cross-functional exposure to the full product development lifecycle — from early research and scale-up to manufacturing, regulatory affairs, marketing considerations, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Develop complex formulations that meet customer, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements
Design, plan, and execute laboratory experiments to evaluate and improve formulation performance
Conduct hands-on experimental work in a chemistry laboratory
Troubleshoot and solve scientific and technical challenges during development
Support the full product lifecycle — from early-stage development through scale-up, manufacturing launch, and beyond
Collaborate with internal departments including Analytical, Organic Synthesis, Scale-Up, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Marketing
Develop and support intellectual property (IP) to protect new formulations
Requirements
B.Sc. in Chemistry
Strong understanding of chemical structure, functional groups, and molecular interactions
Hands-on laboratory skills and experience with laboratory equipment
Ability to design and conduct research, analyze data, troubleshoot, and solve complex problems
Independent, organized, and systematic working style
Initiative, creativity, intellectual curiosity, and critical thinking
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Self-learning ability and consistent performance
